We wanted our old DVD home theater system upgrades have been for something with great sound. The Sony BDV-E780 certainly has – we have noticed an immediate improvement in the quality of the audio signal from our old Samsung system when you insert the first CD system. I was updating my family room, and looked like a very good deal. I already have some big JBL speakers and DCM, but I had to take an active subwoofer and a center speaker, so this was a good deal, because I could get both speakers and the receiving station ‘iPod.

The center speaker is more than sufficient for my needs. It ’s amazing how a center speaker can cost alone. The iPod dock does not work well when a case on your iPod. I wish they were a little more space, so that the case stay on my iPod connected, if allowed.

Surprisingly, Onkyo HT-S5300 series also speaker wire, which is extremely rare, so as to separate the purchase of home theater equipment. The speaker wires are not of high quality, but for ease of use were coded in color might work well for people who have installed a home theater for the first time.

As other reviewer said, the Audyssey mic was not included. I was pleasantly surprised to see how these speakers made whereas only cost me 129.99 delivered! I have this receiver paired with Yamaha RX-V465 to my PS3 with HDMI Slim, so I can be the advantage of HD audio and the sound is hooked to what you’re impressive. The subwoofer has been the biggest surprise. As an 8-inch sub this baby packs plenty of punch. I only shot half, and shakes my stay. I just watched Blade Runner was made on Blu Ray and I felt like a film. I urge anyone out of speakers on a budget.
