We wanted our old DVD home theater system upgrades have been for something with great sound. The Sony BDV-E780 certainly has – we have noticed an immediate improvement in the quality of the audio signal from our old Samsung system when you insert the first CD system. We were overwhelmed by the experience gained, as we saw our first Blu Ray. The quality of picture and sound have been filmed. Truly a great purchase.
Appearance-wise, the system seems fine. The main unit is a glossy black with touches of sensory end. The display on the screen in small and very pretty. Most of the detailed options are displayed on the TV screen.

Initial implementation was quite easy with color coded cables and a walk when the system is. There is also an auto-calibration microphone to calibrate the speakers to your needs depending on where you sit normally help to watch movies. The manual is quite long, but I moved to introduce, by customizing the system to your preferences may be a little ‘more complicated.
Wireless surround sound is a great addition. You should know that is not really “wireless” as the child she is carrying the rear speakers to an amplifier.
